We help girls and young women from 12 years if they have problems and need help.
For example you can come to us, …
- if you’ve got problems with your parents or your boyfriend,
- if you want to leave your home or if you have to leave your home,
- if you have trouble with school or job,
- if you suffer from lovesickness,
- if you’re in love with a girl and scared about it,
- if you‘re under pressure an forced to do things you don’t want to do,
- if you will get married against your will,
- if you’re locked in or under control,
- if you’re beaten, abused or threatened by someone,
- if you have been raped,
- if you feel helpless and confused and don’t know how to go on,
- if you need advice, help and support,
- if you need information or support with filling out forms,
- if you need someone to talk to.
The consultations are free, confidential and also can be anonymous (this means you don’t have to divulge your name).
If you want to you can bring someone with you.
If you feel uncomfortable talking german, we can get an interpreter.
Our counseling center is called „Anlauf- und Beratungsstelle“.

Our opening hours are:
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 10 am to 4 pm
on Wednesday from 10 am to 7 pm.
As agree upon we make appointments outside the opening hours.
If you find it difficult or impossible to visit our counseling center, we can visit you for example at your school.
In this case you should talk to your teacher or supervisor before contacting us.
If you are in danger and have to leave your home, you may consider a temporary shelter in our “Zufluchtsstätte”.
The „Zufluchtsstätte” is an emergency shelter for a maximum of 7 girls or young women in the age range from 13 to 20 years, who need help and support while developing future prospects.
The “Zufluchtsstätte“ is a place for girls, looked after by social workers around the clock, who care for the girls and their needs.
It is located in Kiel but the address is secret in case of the maximum protection for the girls and women who live there.
The girls and young women stay voluntarily with us and only so long as it is necessary to find a good solution.

If you’re in trouble you can reach us around the clock.
You also may call the Police or Youth Service (Jugendamt) for help, of course.
If you are not living in Kiel, you have to contact your local Youth Service (Jugendamt) first, especially if you’re already 18 or older. If you don’t know where to find your local Youth Service you can call us too.
Also we offer a Youth Aid Community (“Mädchen-WG”) for 3 girls and young women in the age range from 15 to 20 years.
It’s a living-place for girls who can’t live at home anymore but still need some sort of help and support in daily life.
In the “Mädchen-WG” they have to take care for all affairs of daily life themselves, they are for example responsible for shopping, cooking and cleaning the rooms.
They are practicing independent living, but if necessary they can get support by a supervisor.
Girls who have escaped from a threat get support to start a new life in safety.
Flexible Support („Flexible Hilfen“)
You may want to stay at home with your family or you are already living on your own, but somehow need some support you can contact your Youth Service (Jugendamt) and apply for a temporary assistance.
This kind of support by a professional supervisor is called “Flexible Hilfen”.
